Euthanasia

All pet owners want their pets’ last moments to be as calm and comfortable as possible. The decision to end the suffering and discomfort of a beloved pet is never easy. Our team is here to guide and support you through this process.

What happens during a euthanasia appointment?

The first thing to know is that it is a painless procedure. An initial tranquilizer and painkiller injection is administered to help your pet relax and ease their discomfort. Next, a strong sedative is administered, allowing your pet to drift to sleep before their heart gently stops.

Can I be there for my pet’s last moments?

You can of course stay with your pet throughout the procedure. Our team will also be there to help you during this difficult time. You will have a peaceful room to yourselves to spend your last moments together. You can take all the time you need. We understand that these moments can be painful; you and your family are of course not required to be present for the procedure. You can be assured that a member of our team will stay with your pet until the end.
