Meryssa obtained her diploma in Animal Health Technology from Vanier College and holds a bachelor's in nursing from McGill University.
Her passion for animals began at the age of six when she got her first pet, forming a strong bond that sparked her lifelong love for animals. Meryssa would often play doctor with her pets, which developed into a deep interest in the study of medicine.
She has a particular interest in parasitology and internal medicine, constantly seeking to expand her knowledge in these fields. What she enjoys most about her work is the new cases and encounters she faces every day, as well as the constant learning opportunities. Meryssa also loves educating clients about their pets' health.
A fun fact about Meryssa is that she was previously an emergency nurse!
She shares her home with three cats: Micky, a Birman; Milly, a Balinese; and Macy, a Persian.
