Dental Care

Oral health problems are common in pets. Many studies show that 80% of dogs will have an oral disease after the age of three. As we know, good oral health is important to your pet’s general well-being, and we’re here to provide the best care and monitoring.

Why is good dental health so important for my pet?

Neglecting dental health can lead to many other problems for your pet. The exponential increase of oral bacteria can lead to abscesses, periodontitis and even infections that can spread and attack your pet’s internal organs. All these conditions cause your pet pain and need to be prevented and treated as quickly as possible.

What are the signs of a dental health problem?

Consult your vet if your pet exhibits any of the following symptoms:

  • Tartar
  • Bad breath
  • Loosened teeth
  • Gum redness (gingivitis)
  • Difficulty eating
  • Excessive salivation
  • Mouth pain

How can oral health problems be prevented?

  • You should brush your pet’s teeth every day.
  • Use treats and specially designed food for dogs or cats
  • Make an annual appointment for a professional cleaning and oral checkup.
